Allstate has made the decision not to renew policies on mobile homes in eight S.C. counties. This is reported to affect about 2,400 homeowners. Allstate spokesman Shane Robinson stated, "It was a decision we felt was necessary to responsibly manage our risk." The popular first-time home buyer tax credit from last year has been extended into this spring and the good news is that even people who already own a home can now qualify for a tax credit if you buy.
